Season 2, Stage 8: La Vuelta & Back to the Eighties

It's August and very hot. That means Guy and I are back for a special Vuelta a España podcast.

I want to thank Jonathan and Richard of Road Holland for our jersey's. You make us look so good! Guy sports the classic looking, Den Haag and I have the new Hilversum summer jersey. And we compliment them with the Orangeman cycling cap from Galstudio.

The Vuelta is in full swing and we talk about stage 5's Katusha rocket called ...Purito. And, just how is Bradley Wiggins doing since his dark day in the Tour?

We talk about the future of SpiderTech's Canadian tough man, Svein Tuft.

Remember the Coors Classic of the eighties? This week starts the inaugural USAPro Challenge stage race from Colorado. That means plenty of Rocky Mountain highs for the riders. We get into it and talk about our favorites and the finish of the Queen Stage into Aspen.

Guy presents the new book from Richard Moore, "Slaying The Badger." All about one of the most exciting Tour battles waged between two riders ...on the same team.

The heat is on and I'm off to the trusty fridge for a special Vuelta inspired cerveza.

Sip back and enjoy!

Richard
