This weekend is a double special, the start of the Belgian Classic season begins (happily) with Saturday's Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Sunday's Kunne-Brussel-Kunne.
I can't stress enough that the Classic season is my favorite time. And whoever wins is crowned a Classic strongman. Will the weather be extra ferocious? We can only hope, the cobbles await. Last year it was mighty wet and wild affair at Het Volk (I prefer this name). Van der Flecha finishing a strong second to Langeveld in that dramatic photo finish.
