The World Championships start September 19-25 in Copenhagen, and the Canadian Cycling Association just announce their Men's road team.
The elite men's road team will have three top riders: Svein Tuft, Dominique Rollin and David Velleux with Michael Barry as reserve. Unfortunately, Ryder Hesjedal has finished his season. Tuft, the 2008 TT silver medalist, will ride the time trial and the course suits him (42km and flat).
Guillaume Boivin is back to ride the U23 road race and I'm betting on him to podium. Last year he finished in a dead tie for bronze with Taylor Phinney.
I firmly believe our riders can bring home medals ...they're all very capable!
