Season 2, Stage 3: A Classic!

Classic season is well under way. The cobbled classics have ended and this Sunday starts the hilly races of the Ardennes week. Before Amstel Gold starts, Guy and I are back for Stage 3 and we review: Milan-SanRemo, Tour of Flanders & Paris-Roubaix.

We are proud to introduce our newest supporter Paved Magazine. The editor of this fine 'skinny tire magazine' is the acclaimed author Joe Parkin. He's the former pro bike racer that penned the memorable: 'A Dog In A Hat & Come & Gone.' We're happy to offer a sneak peak of the Spring issue. A hint:  it's filled with fine cycling photography.

Australian riders have and are making their mark in cycling. Guy presents the book, 'What A Ride: An Aussie Pursuit Of The Tour De France' by Australian author Rupert Guinness. There's an Australian/ Canadian connection... we bring it up.

Our love for Galstudio's excellent handmade cycling caps are legendary, we sport two caps destined to become classics: The Espress O & Chronometro.

I talk about the SpiderTech team led by Captain Canuck, Svein Tuft. Their first season riding as a Pro Continental team in Europe has been full of very good results. In fact, they just completed the GP de Denain and Canadian Champion Will Routley won the sprint classification. In honor of the Tour of Turkey stage race, at the end of April, we enjoy a special 'Turkish delight' beer.

Sit back and enjoy the ride with us!

  1. Good job, guys. Enjoyable. If it were later in the day I would have enjoyed it even more, with a Tuborg in hand. I am looking forward the SpiderTech challenging on the roads down here. A little more than a month now.

  2. Hi Michael,

Spiders will do something specially good down your way Cheers!
